PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rotary electric machine capable of reducing torque ripple without degrading characteristics thereof. SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing the rotary electric machine includes: a first step of punching out a magnetic plate to form magnetic plate members 22 in a way that each member is formed of a magnetic pole tooth part 22c, a magnetic pole part 22d, and an arc-shaped yoke part 22a in a body, width dimensions in the circumferential direction of the respective magnetic pole parts 22d are mutually same, and width dimensions in the circumferential direction of the respective pole tooth parts 22c are mutually same; a second step of fixedly integrating the respective magnetic plate members 22 by stacking them through stamping and interlocking in the stacking direction in a way that a center line of an opening to be formed between the respective two adjacent magnetic pole parts 22d shifts in one of the circumferential directions with respect to a center line of the magnetic pole tooth part 22c sequentially along the axial direction; a third step of forming winding around the magnetic pole tooth part 22c; a fourth step of producing a stator 15 by forming a ringed yoke through bending of coupling parts 22b arranged on the plurality of arc-shaped yoke members 22a; and a fifth step of arranging the produced stator 15 outside a rotor 11.
