PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-bonding polyester fiber having mildewproofing property, usable as a binder fiber containing a mildewproofing agent, excellent in mildewproofing property and durability of the mildewproofing property, free from discoloration (yellowing) caused by use of mildewproofing agents and capable of imparting fabrics such as woven or knitted fabrics and nonwoven fabrics and textile products with high mildewproofing performance. SOLUTION: The heat-bonding polyester fiber having mildewproofing property is a fiber comprising a copolyester containing terephthalic acid component and ethylene glycol component and at least one component selected from 1,4-butanediol component, aliphatic lactone component and adipic acid component as a copolymerized component, having a crystallization initiation temperature of 80-140°C and a melting point of 130-200°C and containing a mildewproofing agent, wherein a triazole-based organic compound is used as the mildewproofing agent in an amount of 0.1-1.5 mass% based on the mass of the fiber.
