PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a natural rubber having satisfactory physical properties suppressing reduction of molecular weight thereof, and to provide the natural rubber obtained by the method. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the natural rubber by which a solidified rubber obtained by solidifying a rubber component from a natural rubber latex is crumbed and dried, a crumb containing water before drying is subjected to a dehydration process by using a squeezer and the dehydrated crumb is subjected to a cutting process and then dried by using a band dryer.
