PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-resistant wall which can displace or deform so as to absorb the external force against a large external force by an earthquake and functions so as to be returned to the original state by itself even if displaced. SOLUTION: This earthquake-resistant wall 1 of a building includes a square frame part 10, and a net body which is attached to the inside of the frame part while being stretched in four directions and is formed of a ring net 20A and the like. When the earthquake-resistant wall 1 receives a large external force by an earthquake, the frame part and the ring net absorb the energy of the external force by elastically deforming. When the receipt of the external force by the earthquake-resistant wall is stopped, the frame part is returned to the original square shape by the elasticity of the ring net.
