PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepreg sheet which reflects excellent mechanical properties of a reinforcing base material to properties of a composite material such as FRP, and is excellent in adhesiveness between a fiber base material and a matrix resin. SOLUTION: The prepreg sheet is obtained by compounding a base material comprising fibers having tensile strength of ≥8 cN/dtex, and a thermosetting resin or a thermoplastic resin. The prepreg sheet has 20 or more concave portions in the shape of cracks having a depth of 10-100 nm, wherein the fibers are connected in a length of not less than 0.1 μm in the minor axis direction of the fiber within the observed region of 4 μm (in a major axis direction of the fiber)×2 μm (in a minor axis direction of the fiber) with the atomic force microscope.
