PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation preventing pipe joint capable of connecting pipes with each other even if pipe axes are bent while satisfactorily maintaining a separation preventing function, and satisfactorily centering a lock ring even without controlling an attitude of a lock ring centering member. SOLUTION: The inner diameter of a socket back side projection 11 is formed so as to be larger than the inner diameter of a projection 10 between receiving grooves so that the pipes can be connected with each other even if the pipe axes are bent. A catch part 6b is formed on the lock ring centering member 6 so that the lock ring is prevented from being separated from the lock ring receiving groove. The lock ring centering member 6 is divided into a plurality of portions in a circumferential direction to form diameter-expanded connection parts of shapes extending outward from respective outer peripheries of the divided portions 6 with attitudes elastically deformable.
