The method involves applying radiographical visible markings (10, 12, 14) to each other at a medical aid (2) i.e. kirschner wire, in relative positions. Conditions of images (18, 20, 22) of the markings are determined in an X-ray (15). An actual spatial condition of the markings is determined in a path of rays (3) based on the conditions of images and the relative positions. A virtual marking is placed in a scale as continuation of the markings. The virtual marking is projected to the X-ray to form an image of the scale together with the images of the real markings.
