<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jacket device for accurately obtaining and informing a position and a situation of a protection object. <P>SOLUTION: The jacket device 31 can be worn by a person. In this case, the jacket device includes: a position information acquiring means 32 for acquiring position information; a detection means 33 for measuring the state of a wearer or carrying out the detection of the surrounding situation; a transmitting determination means 34 for determining whether or not transmission is carried out based on the position information acquired by the position information acquiring means 32, a measured result measured by the detection means 33 or a detection result that is detected by the detection means 33; a storing means 35 for storing the position information and the transmission destination information; and a communication means 36 for carrying out communications with an outside device.
