VEHICLE DRIVING SUPPORT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle driving support device making a guide line of the vehicle rear image nondisplayed when starting a parked vehicle.

SOLUTION: A vehicle driving support device includes: a display means; an imaging means which obtains images around a vehicle; an image processing means which generates an output image on the basis of images of a travel guide line and rear images of a vehicle imaged by the imaging means; and a control means which forces the image processing means to generate a vehicle rear image having a travel guide line undisplayed as an output image when receiving a signal indicating that vehicle moves backward within prescribed time after ACC switch turns on or when travel distance after ACC switch turns on falls within a prescribed distance. The device also includes a switching button for indicating display or nondisplay of a travel guide line. The control means makes a travel guide line displayed or nondisplayed in response to a signal through pressing-down of a switching button.
