PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for controlling a fuel flow to a turbine component. SOLUTION: This system (200) and the method (300) can monitor one or more parameters associated with the fuel flow to the turbine component. The fuel flow may be modeled based at least in a part on the one or more monitored parameters.
