PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal of high versatility, which can demonstrate a remote control function for any control target device when only it succeeds in obtaining of meta information for device control and meta information for content control. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal includes a device control meta information obtaining means for obtaining meta information for device control, a content information obtaining means, content control meta information obtaining means, a presentation means for presenting a content information item for specifying an objective content, a specification means for specifying the presented content information item, a control command generation means, and a command transmission means. The control command generation means generates a control command on the basis of the meta information for content control and meta information for device control of a content corresponding to the content information item specified by the specification means.
