PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jack with a switch, reducing or eliminating a space for incorporating a separator without spoiling reliability of switch operation. SOLUTION: In this jack 1 with the switch, the switch 7 composed of an inside switch contact piece 8 disposed adjacently to the outside of a first ring contact piece 5 electrically connected to a plug 20 when the plug 20 is inserted in a plug insertion hole 2a and an outside switch contact piece 9 paired with the inside switch contact piece 8, and a separator 10 having a single structure made of an insulating material attached to the free end of the inside switch contact piece 8 to insulate between the first ring contact piece 5 and the inside switch contact piece 8, and displaced by the displacement of the first ring contact piece 5 to displace the inside switch contact piece 8 are provided, and a contact part 8c having electric continuity with the inside switch contact piece 8 is provided on the outside surface 10c facing the outside switch contact piece 9 of the separator 10.
