PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall preventing tool, which can be attached to a stick or umbrella provided with a grip part having a relatively long curved part. SOLUTION: The fall preventing tool 4 includes a sheet or tape having a nonslip effect, which is attached to a contact position of the stick or umbrella on a resting object when it is leant against. The tool includes a means for preventing wrinkling or formation of gap in the attachment. The sheet or tape has a wavy profile having, as the means for preventing wrinkling or formation of gap in the attachment, for example, a plurality of slits 41 provided on both the longitudinal side surfaces.
