THROUGH-HOLE MICROARRAY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microarray in which the signal intensity obtained by hybridization is uniform in a spot. SOLUTION: The microarray has a plurality of through-holes in which an organism-related material is immobilized through a gel and which have inner diameters of≤120μm. The method for producing the microarray having a plurality of the through-holes in which the organism-related material is immobilized through the gel includes the following steps (1) to (3): (1) a step for producing a block body having the plurality of the through-holes having the inner diameters of≤120μm; (2) a step for polymerizing a gel precursor solution in the through-holes, and (3) a step for slicing the resultant block body to make thin leaves.
