PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a single brake shoe without flattening capable of coping with a high requirement for an outside diameter dimension. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the single brake shoe including a brake lining attaching surface 6, and two ribs 3 orthogonal to the brake lining attaching surface and extended in the same direction, rolling as a primary processing is applied to a unit metal plate so as to be smaller than the diameter of a final molded product, and outside diameter correction as a secondary processing is carried out to achieve the diameter of the final molded product.
