APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TESTING NUMBER OF TURNS ON COIL

An apparatus used for testing the number of turns of a winding coil on a stator of a concentrated winding machine includes: a base (6); a rod-shaped rotor bracket (4) around one end of which an energizing coil (1) is wound and around another other end of which a standard coil (2) is wound; a joining member for joining the base (6) with the rotor bracket (4) so as to rotate the base (6) and the rotor bracket (4) in opposing directions, wherein the plane of the base (6) is parallel to the rotor bracket (4); a fastening member for fastening the stator (5) of said machine to the base (6) so as to make the stator (5) concentric with the rotor bracket (4) and to position the two on the same plane; a galvanometer (17) connected to the standard coil (2), and which, during testing, is connected to the tested coil (3) of the stator (5) in reverse series connection so as to form a loop. Also provided is a method for using the apparatus to test the number of turns on a coil. The apparatus has a simple structure, is practical and can test the number of turns of a winding coil on a stator of a concentrated winding machine.
