<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the usage of an encapsulated reversible heat-discoloring indicator, which can achieve the long-time retention of the heat-discoloring function of a reversible heat-discoloring indicator which repeatedly performs color developing/decoloring process, on account of the realization of a long-lasting discoloring function of a reversible heat-discoloring layer due to the significant upgrading of light fastness. <P>SOLUTION: The usage of the encapsulated reversible heat-discoloring indicator 1 involves the following procedures: first, an image is formed in a reversible heat-discoloring indicator 2 by applying a heating or a thermal device to the reversible heat-discoloring indicator 2. This reversible heat-discoloring indicator 2 has a reversible heat-discoloring layer 22 containing a reversible heat-discoloring material composed of at least, (α) an electron-donative coloring organic compound and (β) an electron-receptive compound, formed on a support 21. After that, the reversible heat-discoloring indicator 2 is encapsulated, together with an oxygen absorbent material 3, in an oxygen low permeable encapsulator 4 with transparency imparted at least, to the indication surface and thus, the image is indicated by the indicator 2. Next, the reversible heat-discoloring indicator 2 is removed by opening the oxygen low permeable encapsulator 4, then a different image is formed in the reversible heat-discoloring indicator 2 by applying the thermal and/or the heating device, and the reversible heat-discoloring indicator 2 is encapsulated, together with the oxygen adsorbent material 3, in the oxygen low permeable encapsulator 4 and thereby, is ready for use. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
