摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of restricting a rise of the cylinder-inside pressure without delaying the fuel injection time from MBT under a high-load operating condition. SOLUTION: This control system for internal combustion engine includes: a turbo charger including a compressor provided in an intake passage of an internal combustion engine, a turbine provided in an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine, a variable nozzle capable of changing a flow passage area of exhaust flowing into a turbine, a motor capable of assisting supercharge by generating driving force for rotating the turbine and the compressor; and a control means for, at lest, assisting supercharge by the motor and for controlling the fuel injection time to MBT under a predetermined operating condition wherein it is necessary to delay the fuel injection time from MBT in order to control the cylinder-inside pressure of the internal combustion engine at a predetermined upper limit or less.
