PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave overtopping prevention structure facilitating mounting of the wave overtopping prevention structure on an existing dike (including a revetment, a chest wall or the like) and facilitating its construction work. SOLUTION: This wave overtopping prevention structure includes an aluminum top board 2 having a terminal side attached to an upper end part of the dike 1 through a first mounting implement 5 and being extended offshore and an aluminum recurved parapet board 4 having one end connected with a distal end side of the top board 2 through a joint 3 and the other end attached to a sea side face of the dike through a second mounting implement 6. The top board 2 and the recurved parapet board 4 are formed by one aluminum extruded profile having the longitudinal direction arranged along the dike. Consequently, the wave overtopping prevention structure composed of the top board 2 and the recurved parapet board 4 can be simply and securely mounted on the existing dike 1.
