PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide machine parts which allows lubricating oil to be uniformly retained over the whole face of the side face. SOLUTION: The machine parts are provided with: a metallic plate body 132 formed to have a prescribed thickness by electroforming; and a plurality of holes 133 which is formed so as to be recessed over the whole face of the side face of the plate body and can retain the lubricating oil. On the side surface of an escapement gear part 132 as the machine parts, the lubricating oil is retained with the plurality of oil retaining holes 133 formed over the whole face by surface tension, a capillary phenomenon or the like. Thus, the whole of the side surface including the sliding surface 132b functions as an oil retaining face free from variation in the amount of the lubricating oil and having excellent oil retaining capacity.
