PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a metal-containing block copolymer in which a significant amount of metal is contained at the nano level and regularly in a block copolymer. SOLUTION: A mixed solution is prepared by dissolving a block copolymer including a polymer block phase A to which metal can perform coordinate linkage and a polymer block phase B to which the metal does not perform coordinate linkage, and a metal compound which is a compound of the metal, in a solvent in which the block copolymer and the metal compound can be dissolved and to which the metal can perform coordinate linkage, and then the solvent is removed. The solvation of the metal and the solvent can certainly prevent the metal from performing direct coordinate linkage to the polymer block phase A and aggregation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
