PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking-riding combination carrier capable of automatically braking high-speed gears when the carrier is used for walking. SOLUTION: The carrier has a first braking plate 33a and a second braking plate 33b, and a liner 42 which, with a handle 11 rotated toward the front of the vehicle body, pushes out the first braking plate 33a so as to be advanced to the set position of a change lever 7 to allow a transmission to select the first high-speed gear, and a pulling wire 41 and the second braking plate 33b so as to be advanced to the set position of the change lever 7 to allow the transmission to select the second high-speed gear.
