PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reclining device, small-sized and controllable steplessly. SOLUTION: A vehicular seat 100 is provided with a seat cushion 103 and a seat back 104 rotatably fitted to the seat cushion 103, and an adjusting clutch 200 is put in the connecting state between the seat cushion 103 and the seat back 104. The adjusting clutch 200 of the reclining device is disposed on the side of the seat cushion 103, and an operating lever 105 is disposed on an operating shaft through an operating link 210. When the operating lever 105 is put in a horizontal neutral position N, the angle of the seat back 104 is fixed, when the rocking operation is performed to pull upward U from the neutral position N, the seat back 104 is tilted forward, and when the rocking operation is performed to push downward D from the neutral position N, the seat back 104 is tilted backward.
