PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system of a telescopic crane and a bracing unit, and an installation method of the bracing unit to a jib of the telescopic crane. SOLUTION: The bracing unit 9 is positioned in a predetermined position by a lift means arranged in the jib 3, and from there, the jib 3 can be installed and positioned in a holding frame of the bracing unit 9 by the movement of the jib, and the bracing unit 9 is released from the lift means. When not yet reaching the bracing unit installation length after positioning the bracing unit, the jib 3 is moved up to the bracing unit installation length, and the jib is moved for establishing the installation connection of the jib 3 into the holding frame, and is inserted from above into a cross section of the holding frame opening in an upper part.
