PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forceps whose pinching parts can be deformed according to the shape and state of an object. SOLUTION: The pair of pinching parts 5 and 15 of the forceps comprises: outer members 8 and 18 which are curved outward in the form of an arch; inner members 9 and 19 which are fixed by back ends 9b and 19b of the outer members 8 and 18, form pinching surfaces and can be elastically bent; and arched first and second elastic support members 10a, 10b, 20a and 20b whose ends 10a', 10b', 20a' and 20b' are slidably fixed in gaps 5a and 15a of the inner members 9 and 19 of the pinching parts 5 and 15 and whose back ends are sandwiched between the inner members 9 and 19 and the outer members 8 and 18 at their back ends 9b and 19b and are fixed and which are formed with a curvature larger than the outer members 8 and 18.
