<p>A system for color ring back tone (CRBT) service and a CRBT service shielding method are provided, wherein the method includes the following steps: when a calling device initiates a call to a called device through a CRBT server, an identifier which instructs the CRBT server to shield off the CRBT service is carried in the call request message; after the CRBT server receives the call request message, if the said identifier is detected in the call request message, then the CRBT server shields the present call from the CRBT service of its own. The present invention enables the calling user to flexibly select the CRBT service shielding in the call request message, and to decide by itself whether listen to the CRBT of the calling party or of the called party in the call request message, according to the ring back tone playing strategy configured locally, thus satisfying the user's requirement and improving the degree of the user's satisfaction.</p> |
