<p>Disclosed is an active noise control device (200) wherein a smaller-scale control means attenuates a predetermined sound in a first area and adjusts the predetermined sound to have a desired sound quality in a second area different from the first area. Specifically disclosed is an active noise control device (200) which is provided with a signal acquisition unit (210) for acquiring an electric signal relating to the predetermined sound, a control unit (220) for adjusting the amplitude and phase of the electric signal acquired by the signal acquisition unit (210), and a vibration unit (270) composed of a vibration exciter (272) and a diaphragm (271) which vibrate in accordance with an output of the control unit (220). Since the phase of a radiated sound from the diaphragm (271) to the first area (302) and the phase of a radiated sound from the diaphragm (271) to the second area (301) are nearly opposite to each other, the control unit (220) controls the vibration exciter (272) to cause the diaphragm (271) to generate a sound which attenuates the predetermined sound in the first area (302) and adjusts the predetermined sound to have desired frequency properties in the second area (301).</p> |
