A positioning method based on hall element comprises steps as follows: arranging a hall element (2) and a magnet (1) respectively on a fixing part (5) and a moving part (4) which moves relatively to the fixing part (5), making the hall element (2) move through the upside of one pole end of the magnet (1) and forming a gap between the hall element (2) and the pole end of the magnet (1); the hall piece of the hall element (2) is in parallel with the direction of magnetic field of the magnet (1) when the hall element (2) traverses on the pole end; monitoring output signal generated from the hall element (2) during a process of drawing the moving part (4) closer to the fixing part (5), and positioning the position of the moving part (4) when the output signal generated from the hall element (2) comes into break.
