<p>A compact and thin actuator device is achieved. The actuator device is composed of a base plate (10), a pressurizing plate (15), sheet-formed piezoelectric devices (20A, 20B), a reinforcement plate (25) that is inserted between the piezoelectric devices (20A, 20B), friction plates (30A, 30B) that are pasted onto the surfaces of sections on one-end of the piezoelectric devices (20A, 20B), and weights (35) that are installed on sections on the other-end of the piezoelectric devices (20A, 20B). The piezoelectric devices (20A, 20B) have electrodes formed on the front and back faces of a belt-shaped veneer, and are adhered firmly onto the front and back faces of the reinforcement plate (25) consisting of brazen sheet-material. The end section of the reinforcement plate (25) protrudes from the sections on the other-end of the piezoelectric devices (20A, 20B), and the weights (35) are installed onto this protruding section. The piezoelectric devices (20A, 20B) will expand and contract in the surface direction, corresponding to the voltages applied.</p> |
