PURPOSE: A remote meter reading terminal, a remote meter reading system using the same, and a method for controlling the same are provided to omit a setting operation for a specific number and a terminal identification(ID) for a metering device when the metering device and the remote meter reading terminal are replaced. CONSTITUTION: A wire-wireless communicating unit(210) in connection with a metering device. A memory(220) saves information from the metering device. An ID saving unit(240) saves a specific number for the metering device, which is received through the wire-wireless communicating unit, as a terminal ID. A wireless communicating module(250) transmits the information and the terminal ID to a relay.
