PURPOSE: Extract with an anti-diabetic effect, a method for preparing the same, and food including the same are provided to be effective to adult diseases including diabetes, hypertension, obesity, heart disease, and arteriosclerosis by including dandelion, the root of Pueraria lobata, Aurantii nobilis pericarpium, jujube, Glycyrrhiza, and Poria cocos. CONSTITUTION: Taraxacum platycarpum 75~85.09 weight%, the root of Pueraria lobata 2.45~4.57 weight%, Aurantii nobilis pericarpium 5.06~8.36 weight%, jujube 4.23~8.12 weight%, Glycyrrhiza 2.16~2.80 weight%, and Poria cocos 1.01~1.15 weight % are mixed to prepare a mixture. The mixture is added in purified water, and extract is extracted at the temperature between 100 and 120 degrees Celsius for 3 to 7 hours. The extract is filtered and sterilized at the temperature between 90 and 110 degrees Celsius for 30 to 60 minutes.
