The present invention concerns a method for determining which nodes (F1,F2,...F5) of a wireless cellular telecommunication network are involved into a parameters optimisation process. The method comprises the steps of :
- obtaining information related to the expected availability of nodes for a parameters optimisation process (S300),
- ranking the nodes according to the expected availabilities (S301),
- forming plural sets of nodes according to the expected availabilities (S302),
- for each set of nodes, determining parameters,
- receiving a message from one of the nodes, the message notifying the availability of the node,
- selecting one set of nodes among the sets of nodes at least according to at least the rank of the node which sent the message notifying the availability of the node,
- executing parameters optimisation process for the nodes comprised in the selected set of nodes using the determined parameters (S303).
