PURPOSE: A portable cutting apparatus for removing a supporter for a scaffold is provided to rapidly cut a mount support and to form an uniform cut face without damage to the coated surface of a ship block. CONSTITUTION: A portable cutting apparatus for removing a supporter for a scaffold comprises a base frame(10), a plurality of magnets(11), a sliding rail(12), a slide nut(131), a cutter rotary motor(13), a cutter and a cutter transferring cylinder(15). The magnets are fixed on one end of both sides of the base frame using fixing members. The slide screwnut is fixed and coupled in the sliding rail to slide. The slide screwnut is moved along the sliding rail to top and bottom. The cutter rotary motor is installed in one side of the slide screwnut.
