摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron device capable of easily supplying electrons from an electron supply part formed in a diamond layer to the diamond layer. <P>SOLUTION: In this electron device 1, the electron supply parts 7 formed in the diamond layer 6 have a small work function as compared with, for instance, Cu or the like because of containing one or more kinds of metal elements selected from alkaline metal elements and alkaline-earth metal elements. Then, electron affinity of the diamond layer 6 is small as compared with, for instance, a silicon layer, whereby the gap between the energy level at the lower end of a conduction band of the diamond layer 6 and the energy level where electrons are present in the electron supply part 7 is reduced.
