FILTER ELEMENT COMPRISING AN OPTIMISED BELLOW-TYPE ARRANGEMENT

The device has a filter element (7) arranged in a filter housing (2), where the filter element is designed as a multi-bellow filter with two radially inserted filter bellows (10, 11). One of the bellows is traversed by a fluid in a radial direction. A flow chamber (12) for the fluid is formed between the bellows, where the chamber communicates with a front side of the filter element. Each bellow is designed as a star-shaped filter with filter folds that are arranged in a star-shape. A seal (19) is arranged between the bellow (11) and the filter housing on the front side of the filter element. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a filter element for a filter device.
