<p>The connecting element (1) has two tabs (2) designed for receiving a pipe (3), where the tabs has a medium for supporting band-shaped fastening elements (6). The tabs are provided with two protruding side surfaces (4), where the side surfaces are bent up or down from the adjacent tab. The band-shaped fastening elements are cable straps, hose clamps, tape or metal bands or wires. An independent claim is also included for a method of joining pipes, particularly bamboo pipes.</p> |
