The hand-held machine tool (1) has a housing, which has two separate housing sections connected to each other. One housing section is formed as a handle (4) for holding and guiding the hand held machine tool. A vibration reduction element is arranged for interacting with a housing section. The vibration reduction element is designed as actuator, which generates anti-vibration to the vibration acting on the handle. An independent claim is also included for a hand-held machine tool housing.
