METHOD AND APPRATUS OF TRANSMITTING ACK/NACK

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for transmitting acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgement(ACK/NACK) signal are provided to efficiently transmit an ACK/NACK signal by multiplexing the ACK/NACK signal. CONSTITUTION: All ACK/NACK units, which are available for transmitting an ACK/NACK signal, are divided into a plurality of ACK/NACK unit groups(S802). Each ACK/NACK unit group includes a plurality of ACK/NACK units. A plurality of ACK/NACK hypotheses is divided into a plurality of ACK/NACK hypothesis groups(S804). The ACK/NACK hypothesis groups are allocated in each ACK/NACK unit group(S806). Each ACK/NACK hypothesis in each ACK/NACK hypothesis group is classified using modulation symbol transmitted through the ACK/NACK unit groups(S808).
