Washing machine with a lye container and a registration device

The machine (1) has a lye container (4) oscillatingly fastened in a housing (2). A detecting device (7) detects a position and/or an orientation of the container in the housing. A magnetic field sensor (8) is fixedly arranged in the housing and detects flow density and direction of magnetic field produced by a magnet (9). The magnet is fitted in a joint (15) i.e. ball joint, which is associated to the sensor and operatively connected with the container by a lever mechanism (11). The lever mechanism transfers a movement or a position change of the container to the magnet.
