PURPOSE: A porous adamantane-based compound and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to use the compound as an adsorber of contaminants including carbon dioxide and environment hormones. CONSTITUTION: A porous adamantane-based compound has the structure marked with chemical formula I. In the chemical formula I, R1 is a compound selected from the group consisting of phenyl and biphenyl. R2 is selected from the phenyl, the biphenyl, and naphthyl. A manufacturing method of the porous adamantane-based compound comprises a step of reacting a compound marked with chemical formula II with a compound marked with chemical formula III.
