PURPOSE: A portable terminal preventing an illegal free call is provided to seclude or open the entrance of a card slot by interlinking the insertion of a battery and prevent an illegal free call. CONSTITUTION: A battery slot(210) and a card slot(220) are formed in order to be opened to one side of the terminal body. A stopping module is connected in insertion or the withdrawal of the battery mounted on a stopping module is the battery slot. The stopping module opens or closes the entrance of the card slot or the stopping module. The stopping module comprises an engagement member and a stopper. The engagement member is supported on the battery. The engagement member is projected to the battery slot.
