PURPOSE: A device for controlling an electric steering error of an electric forklift is provided to reduce the position seeking time and cost when the steering device of the electric forklift is out of order. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling an electric steering error of an electric forklift comprises a second regulator(12), a comparator(13), a micom(14), an alarm driving part(15) and a trouble information transmitting part(17). The second regulator rectifies the high DC voltage output from a battery to the low DC voltage and supplies it to each part. The comparator compares the voltage corresponding to the rotating angle of a handle, which is detected by a torque sensor, with the voltage applied to an actuator. The micom receives the output signal of the comparator and continues to determine whether there is trouble in a steering device while the forklift runs. The alarm driving part informs the driver of the trouble of the steering device. The trouble information transmitting part transmits trouble information to a main controller.
