PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interchangeable lens to supply an approved in-focus range in which focusing can be adequately determined to the outside. SOLUTION: The interchangeable lens is equipped with: a photographing optical system 22; a storage means 24 for storing the range of defocusing amount where a value showing the image formation performance of the photographing optical system 22 becomes a predetermined value or more as the approved in-focus range; and a range supply means 26 for supplying the approved in-focus range stored in the storage means 24 to the outside.
