PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make usable both map information stored in a memory medium and the latest facilities information. SOLUTION: A digital TV receiver 21 receives the latest facilities information from a digital TV broadcasting station 11. An external memory 25 stores the received facilities information. For displaying a map, a controller 26 reads map information through a map information reader 23 from a memory medium such as CD-ROM, writes the map information in a writing memory 26a, and overwrites display data of the facilities in the writing memory 26a based on the facilities information. Thus, prior to the facilities information stored in the memory medium for the same facilities, the facilities information stored in the external memory 25 are taken and written in the writing memory 26a. |
