APPARATUS OF REPAIRING FLAT PANNEL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: An apparatus for repairing a bright point defect in a display device is provided to prevent the damage on a lower layer of a color filter by making the energy density of a laser beam uniform over the whole range of a laser beam irradiation region. CONSTITUTION: A point defect repair apparatus(200) includes a laser unit(210), a scanner(230), and a beam processing surface controller(280). The laser unit irradiates a laser beam to a color filter having defection, and the scanner scans the laser beam in the irradiation section of the color filter. The beam processing control unit performs a filtering operation lest the scanned laser beam should be irradiated on an acceleration section or a deceleration section.
