PURPOSE: An apparatus for generating an avatar video message and a method thereof for easily editing the inputted voice are provided to efficiently generate the avatar video message by editing the voice of the user. CONSTITUTION: A controller(110) performs voice recognition about the voice of a user. The controller generates the edited information. The controller edits the voice by using the edited information. The controller generates avatar animation according to the edited voice. The controller generates the avatar video message by using the edited voice and avatar animation.
