The cover (7) has a housing for inserting a neck (5) of a jar (1) and defined by a side wall (8) and a bottom wall (9). An inner surface of the side wall includes a set of fixation units cooperating with complementary fixation units of the neck of the jar. The bottom wall includes an outer surface (10) on which a tag (12) is fixed using an adhesive, where the tag has a covering (14) to receive dry erasable inscriptions. The outer surface of the bottom wall has a peripheral flange (11) partly surrounding an edge (13) of the tag.
