<p>The method involves removing a brood comb with brood cells from a beehive. The brood comb with brood cells is separated from bees. The separated brood comb is heated with adjustable hot air stream such that the hot air stream is moisturized, where the relative humidity of the hot air stream amounts to 70 percentages so that the brood cells are heated till reaching the temperature of 39 to 42 degree centigrade. The temperature of the brood cells is maintained for 45 minutes. Temperature measurement devices (111, 112) are inserted into the brood comb. An independent claim is also included for a device for controlling mites in a beehive before harvesting honey.</p> |
