Resins containing acrylate groups

Acrylate-group containing resin, which is liquid at 25[deg] C and obtained by reacting polycarboxylic acid (A) (having at least two carboxyl groups per molecule and at least two carbon atoms) with polyamine (B) (having at least two amino groups and at least two carbon atoms) to obtain an intermediate compound (Z) that is terminated with carboxyl group, and functionalizing the intermediate compound so that the free carboxyl group of the intermediate compound is treated with one or more (meth)acrylate group(s), is claimed. An independent claim is included for a radiation curable coating composition comprising a crosslinkable compound and a photoinitiator, where the crosslinkable compound contains the above resin.
