<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting diode lamp that is prolonged in service life by suppressing the deterioration of a resin, and to provide a method of manufacturing the lamp. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting diode lamp is provided with a light emitting diode element 9 which emits ultraviolet rays, a phosphor 11 which emits visible light when the phosphor 11 is excited by the ultraviolet rays, and the resin 13 which passes the visible light. The lamp is also provided with a phosphor dispersing member 12 which is made of low-melting point glass, and provided between the light emitting diode element 9 and resin 13 and in which the phosphor 11 is dispersed.
